Downtown Auburn

Historic Downtown Auburn — So Much, So Close!

About Auburn

A day at Emerald Downs. A trip to the Outlet Collection. A hike along the river. A day in woods. An evening at the Muckleshoot Casino. There’s a lot to like about living in Auburn. Auburn is about halfway between Seattle and Tacoma and nestled in the Green River Valley. Historic Downtown Auburn offers restaurants, unique shops and just about any service you need. Auburn is a quick 30-minute drive to Seattle where you can enjoy the Space Needle, Pioneer Square, the Fashion District, Seahawks, Mariners or Sounders. If you’re a commuter, walk two minutes from Trek to the Sounder train station and take a nice, relaxed 20-minute ride right into Seattle’s downtown. There are nine morning and nine evening Sounder departures! With Wi-Fi!

For Skiers and Boarders, Auburn is about an hour from Crystal Mountain or the Snoqualmie Ski Areas. Hike or bike along the White and Green River trails or the Interurban Trail. For entertainment, enjoy the downtown Palace Theater, the shows at Muckleshoot Casino and an outdoor concert season at the White River Amphitheater. And, by the way, Auburn is one of the oldest and most historic cities in Washington— but one that behaves with the fun of a frisky teenager! You’ll love it here!
